King of the Camp!

    Alright this year I think we need to create a King of the Camp competition! No we will not be shooting for a rock. The prize will be for bragging rights for the year. If everyone is interested this is how it will work. The first round of competitions will be between bow manufacturers. Example: all Mathews shooters will compete against each other, same with Hoyt, etc..... Then round 2 will be the championship with one shooter from each bow brand!!! Those of you shooting odd brand bows may have a bye in the first if no other shooters are shooting the same brand as you. Contest will be held on Friday at 2pm. This will give all the pro staff a chance to shoot before going to the staff meeting. If you don't arrive by then sorry but you are out of luck! We will determine the exact contest on Friday prior to the shoot.

    What do you all think? Should we do this?

    Figuring we will figure that out Friday depending on where the tents are located along with other campers. Thinking something across the pond if possible might be fun but just not sure yet if that would be possible till we are all setup. Plus not knowing will keep people from trying to practice for it! LIKE YOU!!!!

    Haha I'm ready for anything. I was just wondering if it's going to be like a 3D shoot with unknown yardage and the person with the most points moves on or what.

    I am open to suggestions! I am thinking single target though just because we don't have the room at the campground and we always have to remember safety is a priority! We don't want to risk upsetting the other campers or park owners!

    Gotcha, I'll think of some thinks and post them here. I like the idea though. Long distance shoots are always fun too.

    I doubt that and if Raywanking shows up to camp he will kick all your hoyt butts! Guess we should decide if this is a campers only competition too now that I mentioned that! Seeing as it is the King of Camp competition I guess campers should be the only ones in it!

    Defiantly campers only. And maybe get a count ahead of time for who's interested and which bow so then you can figure out shooting groups if needed instead of having a mad dash the day of.

    I don't want this to be a all day drawn out shoot. It is just for fun and everyone will already be in groups based on what bow you shoot.
