I was reading the old threads and heard these mentioned. Would love to get my hands on some, so if anyone is willing to share the recipe, it would be greatly appreciated!

I believe it was Tom (monsterraxx) that made them!

Strongly suggest you stay away from them. Believe me I speak from experience when I say nothing good will come from eating them!

There is a reason you were named Queen of the camp and it is the same reason you sit when you pee!

I will post it up tomorrow when I am on stand.

I'll have to give the recipe a try when you get it up. I've been trying more recipes with habaneros and ghost and scorpion peppers now that a local grocery store gets them on occasion.

Okay it is basically the Veni Bites recipe.

Cut venison steaks or chops into bite size pieces and sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper and let sit for an hour in the fridge. Then pour Coke in to cover and let marinate for 24 hours. Drain off the coke and pour in Veri Veri Teriyaki sauce (you can get this at walmart in the oriental aisle blue and white bottle) and marinate for at least 3 more hours. Grill and enjoy...make more than you think you need and you still wont have enough.

For the habanero veni bites do everything the same but put a slice of habanero on there and wrap with bacon.

Had to try some. Did some with ghost too. Very tasty. Probably gonna mess with some variations of this.

This sounds great. However, I will be switching the habenero with a jalapeno

Did a batch that way too with the vanes and seeds out since the wife doesn't like hot and they came great too. I think marinated and bacon wrapped it's impossible to go wrong

That's like putting gold on hold. Nothing wrong there at all.

I'll have to get that next time. I substituted with teriyaki I had on hand. Haven't tried that kind yet. Planning on making more in the next few days. It'll be a regular til I run out of venison.
