I want to formally apologize for not having this started before now. I have been a pretty busy person lately. Someone text me to remind me last night. I will continue to try to be as competent as the years past and I can promise, I will put points on the board again for us. Now good luck to you all and lets kill some deer!

    Thanks Sticks! I'm still here.

Our archery deer season is open right now. I've only seen does close. :(
I have until September 12 to get a buck..... wish me luck. I need it!

I'm here. Looking forward to defending our championships as we go for the three-peat :) It's clear we have a very skilled team. Good luck to everyone.

At this point, I don't have the same kinda studs hanging around my place like I did last year, but most of those bucks moved off as they started to shed velvet, so I'm hoping this is a sign that they might be summering somewhere else and will be moving onto my place as the fall gets hear. I'll share a couple pics of what I'm seeing right now.

I'm around. Been busy too. Working hard to find, my bucks, but the few target bucks I see scouting have evaded the trail cams so far. I'll keep you posted.

I'm ready to roll. The rain has my food plots popping and I've seen a few shooters. Maybe I'll actually contribute this year!

Here is a pic of my number one deer. I call him Ernie. This is the deer that I had at 17 yards last January and ran out of light. Hopefully I can add him to our score card.

I'm here. I've been pretty busy with work and life this summer. I haven't made it up to the cabin nearly as much as I'd like but my dad was able to get up there twice. We've got a few shooters on cam but nothing huge. We're seeing lots of does so hopefully I'll be able to put at least 50pts. on the board for us. The neighbor (1/2 mile down the road) has shared a few really nice pics so I'm hoping they'll wonder over.

Clinton, Ernie is one heck of a deer. You can send his bachelor buddy my way if you want. I ain't proud.

I have one I am keeping my eye on. He would outscore mine from last year a month and a half ago. City Slicker is still around from last year from what I hear. I'm hoping to see what he becomes and if he is what I expect, he will die if we cross paths. I lost a farm I had planned on hunting this year to the family selling it but, I may possibly have another property that produces big bucks every year. Problem is I haven't scouted so I will have to rely on my topo scouting skills which gave us my 50 points for my doe last season. Good part is it's over 50 acres and only has one hunter that doesn't hunt deer on it that often. I wish we got points for putting a new hunter on their first deer. My wife will kill her first with my help this season. So I now have 3 goals.

    1. Put Jess on her first deer.
    2. Kill a few doe. Magic number being 3.
    3. Kill a buck over 100".

    Come on Sep. 13th!

Nice deer pics Clinton and Skywalker.

I appreciate the confidence. .. but my issue is really time. I won't likely be deer hunting this weekend, I need to go visit my dad and then Jmbuckhunter us coming out to visit.
Needless to say, if I do get a buck within 35 yards, even a dink, I'm taking the shot. ;)

I went ahead and checked dubbya in. He is usually busy guiding this time of year but, always comes through. has anyone heard from or seen any posts from liwhitetail? I believe he was pretty late getting checked in last year.
