Last year was the first time I stepped foot on the 40 acres and it was also my first year bowhunting. Ended up taking a big doe, but nothing more. The farmer who leases the AG fields on the property wasn't able to get any crops in this year because of the wet spring... Will be planting some winter rye next weekend! I primarily hunt my brothers 80 acres during rifle season, but we will see what happens.

How about we introduce all ourselfs. My name is Ricky, I'm turning 21 next month. I'm married to my beautiful wife Brooke and work as a project manager for a cleaning service. I love bow hunting and have been hunting for the past 6 years. I got my avatar 142 inch last year but wasn't on a team lol. So hopefully I can repeat another descent buck this year to help us win! I'm on this site but don't really know anyone besides my cousin so I'm also hoping this helps me get to know alot of you more! Good luck this year everyone!
I'm Bill, 48, live in NC. Wife of 24 years and 5 kids (3 in college). NC's season starts Sept 13, but allows you to hunt tilll the EOY, and then actually had some cities that allow for urban archery into Feb. I'm excited, but feel a bit apprehensive this year. Work keeps me on the road and shoulder problems kept me from even being able to shoot my bow till the start of this month. Though I'm now finally able to practice I've compensated for my late start by buying more toys for the season. I'll be likely hunting public land this year. ~Bill
I'm Matt, 29, live in Northcentral PA. I'll be primarily hunting my parents 90 acres that's just a few minutes from my home. Not a ton of shooters on camera this summer, but plenty of bears. Here's my only target buck thus far: Food plot wise, I have everything going well. My fall planted clover from last season is doing well: Planted my brassica's last week and we have green up as of this week with rain in the forecast again this week. Finger's crossed.
