I'll start and highlight everyone who checks in. I'm Tim. I'm 25, father of four and beginning bowhunter. I drew early season archery in Nevada for Anterled Mule Deer. I've been out a couple of times this season with nothing put down, but I'd still consider each trip a success.

I've been looking forward to the contest since last year when I joined to get some advice on my new addiction. I can't wait to get to know you all and hope we all have a great season.

My name is Luke. I'm 33 and have been bowhunting since I was 12. I'm married with 3 kids 16,10.6. None of them bowhunt.I hunt in Wisconsin This is my first year in the contest and I am looking forward to meeting some new people and have fun.

Just a thought to keep in the back of our minds, we need to dub someone "Captain oh my Captain" and come up with a name.

 

You are doing a good job taking charge. I nominate you for captain. How about Rack Attack for a possible name?

I'm Matt, 35, married with 4 kids aged 9, 7, 5, 2. Three boys, the five year old is my girl. They all have bows and the older two are working to get their poundage to the 40lb minimum...won't be this season though. Nothing better than lining up with these 4 and slinging some arrows.

I live/hunt in IL...Oct 1st to Mid-Jan. With our busy schedule I'm the typical Saturday morning hunter, but plan to get a few days off work in Nov for some longer sits.

Nice to meet everyone - hopefully we can get some good participation on this thread and offer some help/advice to each other in hopes of filling some tags. Any captain and name are fine with me...

I changed it for you Matt. Welcome aboard. Glad to hear that your kids are into bowhunting like their dad. My boys, at least my older three (4, 3, and 2) all have PVC bows and ask to shoot every night.
